Explore Spear Creek by 4WD
Go beyond the campground and discover more of Spear Creek Station on our two self-drive 4WD tracks. Wind your way through rugged station country, take in sweeping views of the Southern Flinders Ranges and experience parts of the property most guests never see.
Whether you’re looking for a relaxed scenic drive or something a little more adventurous, there’s a track to suit.
South Scenic Track
An easy and enjoyable drive through beautiful station country, the South Scenic Track is perfect for those wanting to explore without anything too challenging.
The track leads to Gary’s Lookout, where you can stop, take in the landscape and enjoy spectacular views across the station and surrounding ranges.
Allow approximately 40–60 minutes.
North Technical Track
Ready for a little more adventure? The North Technical Track offers rougher terrain and a more engaging 4WD experience as it winds through the northern end of the station.
It’s more technical than our scenic track, but not extreme—making it a great option for confident drivers wanting to put their 4WD to use while discovering another side of Spear Creek.
Allow approximately 60–90 minutes.
Our 4WD tracks are open daily, with last entry at 4 pm. Track availability may vary depending on weather and conditions, so please check with our team before setting off.
